Dr Brendan Black

Brendan holds a bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering and a PhD specialising in Wireless Communication and the Internet of Things (IoT), with a focus on complex system design. This academic foundation provides strong expertise in mathematical modelling and complex systems, which Brendan applies to the design, development, and deployment of machine learning and deep learning systems.

Brendan has worked across both academic and industry environments, contributing to the development and implementation of Artificial Intelligence solutions across Computer Vision, predictive analytics, anomaly detection, and conversational AI. Brendan’s work focuses on translating research into practical, production-ready applications.

Brendan’s work spans the full AI lifecycle, including data preparation, system design, integration, and deployment, with an emphasis on delivering scalable solutions that solve real-world problems.

Brendan supports enterprises in adopting Artificial Intelligence to improve efficiency, enhance decision-making, and unlock value from their data.
