Dr Ciarán Ó hAnnracháin

Executive Project Lead Innovate+

Dr Ciarán Ó hAnnracháin is a Strategic Projects Manager at Atlantic Technological University for EU-funded Research Projects and is ATUs Operational Board member of the World Technology Universities Network (WTUN), and an Advisory Board Member of the European Masters in Business Studies programme. Previous roles include Project Manager for Academic Planning and Strategy, and Internationalisation & External Engagement during the creation of ATU.

Ciarán has also held Senior Academic Management positions in Ireland and Switzerland, and lectures primarily in Hospitality and Tourism Management. His research interests include both Education: HE Policy and Internationalisation of HE, and Business: Regional Clusters, Business Model Innovation, Talent Management and Staff Training and Development.

Ciarán is a Board Member of the RegTech Supercluster, a cross-border initiative to position the NW City Region Ireland North West) and chairs the Research and Innovation Subgroup.

As Executive Project Lead of the Innovate+ project Ciarán will continue to align high‑level strategic engagement with project partners and regional stakeholders with effective programme delivery. He will ensure that Innovate+ achieves its ambitious targets and that resources are deployed responsibly, efficiently, and sustainably to address the evolving enterprise skills and training needs across the programme region.
